our FAMOUS Photo Album - auto racing news and info

since Autosport.Net went online in 1998

In the late 80's and early 90's I followed the F1 circus in the late summers in Belgium with my newly-acquired university scholarship money.  Needless to say that by the time school started, I was broke.  But Ayrton Senna was the only person I ever had that kind of following for.  He remains my only sporting idol, the sportsman that I would have dropped everything to see and follow for at least a few days a year.

You must be a fan of the sport to sell it with conviction.  Since then I've been extremely fortunate to have met the most important people in open-wheel racing since starting Autosport.Net and felt it important to have these photos on display to prove that Autosport.Net does indeed deal directly with the main people of Formula 1 and Indy / CART racing.  There are exceptional people in racing who are charming and welcoming, and I have made special mention of them in these photo pages.  I thank them especially for their hospitality.

I really do hope you all get the same opportunities I've been so lucky to get.
