Canadian Grand Prix - June 2001

Brotherly love.  I went with my brother to Montreal... Mika Hakkinen hoped that Ralf Schumacher did not do the same.  But as it turns out, Michael was not the one to most worry about.

Ralf Schumacher made Kerpen, Germany quite happy with his 2nd GP win.  It was also the first that brothers finished 1-2 at.  His Williams teammate Juan Pablo Montoya did not have such a good weekend.  His comments to Jacques Villeneuve (and vice versa) were not at all professional.  JPM should turn it around very soon.

My driver of the race is actually not Ralf, but Jean Alesi.  It was his second consecutive point scoring race, but more importantly, he loves Montreal so much that he seems to leave his helmet there every time to be sure to return.  He brings genuine exhuberance to F1 and the same reactions we'd all give if we could do what he does for a living!
